Yeah, I know. There is the Newport Historical Society, which might have that information, since this is a plaque house. There also used to be a toilet in the basement, which I bet was the original toilet location for the house when they first got indoor plumbing. That must have been a drag back in the day before that, especially in the winter time. You had to go out to an outhouse to take a crap. They did have chamber pots, but still. Oh yeah, there used to be gaslights in here, as well. There's these things in the wall that are capped off that used to be for them.

That would be too much fun in the winter.

No joke. You know, I wouldn't take anything for granted, like something as simple or basic as a functional toilet, because once that thing isn't working, you'll definitely notice that right away.

It pretty much works, or it doesn't. Or some minor issues with its function.

That's true. It's not really the most complex thing, when you think about it. It uses water and gravity to function.

Not even gravity, as much now, as it is water pressure. The sewer systems in more areas, are worked by pumps, and lift stations. Well, enough of this crap. Image

Yeah, it certainly doesn't have anything to do with Fender Player Jazz Basses, unless you have one in the bathroom, and like to play when you're on the loo. :P

I don't play in any other rooms in the house. If I was going too, it would have been when I had a combo.

When I had movies to watch that I recorded, I'd go into the living and play, without an amp (which is probably why I used the violin bass a lot,) while watching a movie, but other than that I play in the office, where I keep the Fender amp. I've also had the Ampeg in the dining room fired up, but that room is right where the office is, anyway. We have the studio set up in there, since my girlfriend's desk is right in there and next to the office. Actually, the office is almost like what your typical closet in the bedroom would be, except slightly bigger, and has a window. Like I've mentioned, it's a weird house. I try to even wrap my head around the fact it could have been an elevator.

I'm glad I'm just playing in the one room. There's no decision process involved on where should I play. I'm a creature of habit anyway.

Well, having all of the gear set up in a spot also will dictate that, too. I wish I had a little more room so I could actually use my Ampeg stack, but then again, I'd never use the Fender if that were the case, which is still a good amp, even though the Ampeg is easier to use for live use. I probably could fit the cab under the built in table where the Fender is, but I'd have to keep the head on top of the table (I don't think it's high enough,) and have to rig the speaker cab accordingly, which might be a pain in the arse.

Now that I'm playing at lower volumes, I can hear almost everything in the room that vibrates, VIBRATE! At first i thought it was the stand I was using for the HA2500 / 112b. So I switched out to another style stand. That's when I realized it's other things in the room vibrating. Not too bad for a single 12" cab.

I remember you talking about that, with swapping out the stand. I'd say that's pretty good for that 12" speaker to do. I take it that it puts outs a pretty good low end, then?

It does very much so. The EQ on the HA2500 spices it up.

Yeah, you do have a lot of frequencies to work with there.
