It could be more states are going to require sales taxes for online sales also.

I know, I've read about that on the news from time to time. The thing is, if you have a business, you'd be foolish not to have some way to do business online in the first place. Some sort of thing to where you can order online. I've noticed even a lot of mom and pop music shops that are still around have store fronts on that Reverb.com site, and eBay.

Not quite the same as a music store, but there was a local camera store that was doing more business with their internet account. So eventually they closed the shop, and moved somewhere out of state up north, where they were originally from.

Probably too much overhead, or they got sick of the location.

The rent on the space didn't help either.

Yeah, that can get up there, depending on location.

I think the management company wanted them out so the space could be used by a specialty grocery store to move in, or something like that.

That wouldn't surprise me. What actually went in there afterwards, do you remember?

I think the speciality store took over the space.

We've had quite a few businesses come and go around here. Some have even only lasted a couple of months. The thing about this place is it's pretty much some resort city that's pretty much active for a couple of months out of the year, as far as the majority of tourism goes.

Parts of the east coast of Florida are very dependent on the tourist dollar. I know how that goes.

Yeah, I imagine so. I've been all around there, as well.

The trouble with the tourist economy, it's not a reliable one. It can be high, or low. Not consistent at all.
