I recently purchased a new Custom Shop reissue 1960 Jazz Bass ("1960 Journeyman Relic Jazz Bass") from a Fender Dealer in Australia. I'm wondering what the string gauge is, for future reference when buying new strings. They seem to be lighter gauge than the P-Bass. May even be lighter than later model Jazz Basses. I tried searching the net to find specs but couldn't find any that stated the string gauge. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

From http://www.fendercustomshop.com > Basses > Jazz Bass > 1960 Journeyman Relic Jazz Bass > specs;
Fender® USA Bass 7250M, NPS (.045-.105 Gauges) = 45-65-85-105.
