I still don't know how, but I've just lost one of the screws and springs holding the saddle on the bridge on my Jazz Bass. Is it possible to buy these screws and springs separately (online shops? Or physical stores in Germany?)? Or do I need to order a new complete bridge?

Thanks
Stuart

I'm pretty sure the screws used to mount Fender bass bridges are #6 by 1".
They should be easy to find in any nutz n boltz store you may have locally in your area.

Warmoth also sells a screw set.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I'd be surprised if Thomann can't help you.

If you are talking about screws for a vintage instrument, they are incredibly hard to find. I pay a lot of money for old screws to use in restoring old Fenders. I have three vintage bridges, only one has screws. The same can be said for any and all screws. Tough to find, and you need to watch for people how artificially age them and try to sell them as legit. Good luck! In the meantime I am afraid you are gong to have to go to the hardware store.

You may have to spring for a complete bridge assembly. I couldn't find any vendor that stocked and sold separate intonation screws and springs, not even as aftermarket parts.
