Yes that's right, this question is about pickguards on the left handed American Deluxe Jazz Bass!

I'm interested in purchasing a brand new colour pick guard for this type of bass and was wondering if I had to get a special size made or if a normal American jazz pickguard would be the correct size.

Thanks Advanced for Your Help!

Ok, I've now look on that website and still cannot find a pickguard which is suitable for my bass.

I have also now looked at the Pickguards on the Fender Website and it appears that it is impossible to find an American Deluxe pickguard!
They are all 10 hole, whereas mine is a 9 hole. They have a pickguard for every other bass apart from my own.

So does anyone know where I could find a pickguard?

You can make a tracing and send it in. It may cost more, but you will know that it's as close to correct as can be.

I say just sand the one you have and custom paint it

Living in Australia makes sending the actual pickguard quite difficult due to the time factor. And since I'm only 15 in November (and only have one bass to slap), I am not very patient!
Plus I have a few gigs coming up soon!

I might consider tracing the pickguard if it's my final option.
Would I send it to www.pickguards.com ?
Thanks for all your help!

Try sending them an email and explain the problem. They may have them.

I may not be looking hard enough, but I can't seem to find an email address on the website. I'm sure it's here somewhere, I must be just going blind!
Could you perhaps point me in the direction of where it might be?

Thanks

You may not get an answer until Monday, I believe they are not there on weekends.
