The Spl. Edition White Opal Jazz I'm liking more through the Markbass. The Markbass carries the sounds well.

The Spl. Edition plays great through the Markbass too. A major thump action working on it. I was just flipping around for a minute after tuning, and then realized I was going into the Hendrix version of "Hey Joe". DAMN did this Spl. Edition, and the Markbass totally brings out a massive great sound. Clear, clean, and and a smooth way down tone. Noel Redding would've been proud. The Markbass is sounding superb at any volume, with any of the three Jazzes. I just adjust the bass I'm playing, and leave the amp setting as is. It's good.

That's pretty cool. 8) I've yet to crank the Orange to those settings with the gain and master, especially because it's in a tiny rehearsal room. It makes my 18" Celestion sad. :P

I'm in a small extra bedroom size room. It's not too bad with 2 1X12 cabs. I would love to hear that Orange power the 18 cab in an arena size building.

At one time in the early to mid 70's, I knew a guy at the Hollywood Sportatorium, that would've let you in for a few minutes to to blast away for a bit. You would've played where Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Free, Faces, Ten Nugent, MC5, Mothers Of Invention, etc. played.

Your Orange would've sounded amazing in there.
