I got to talk to my drummer again and figure what bass I want to have him look at first. Maybe I can get him to do two of them, if he'll have the time, then eventually the rest. I don't want to dump a bunch of crap on him at once, plus I'd have to haul of it to his place, which is a drive from here. Most likely, it will be the violin and the Jazz bass. Then the Peavey, if he can fix it. Or, maybe the Peavey first if he can. I'd love to finally get that going. It's been screwed up for years.

That's your choice, for which one has almost a priority for what you may need if it were needed for playing out somewhere.

Yeah, eventually I'll try to get them all fixed, though.

You bet. And if there's one you're not going to use, not a bad idea to drop it, or use it as a parts bass.

I'm sure they'll all get used. My girlfriend also plays bass and some of those are her basses that she likes to play on as well.

That's right I forgot she plays the bass also. So it's an advantage for you to have more basses up, and playing.

Yes, it did. It's an Am. Std., with the up grades on it that make worth hanging on to after all. At least I was able to reacquire it. The Spl. Edition was good, but I figured if I'm going to have a Rosewood Fretboard Jazz, it may as well be the Am. Std. I have the USA GL with a Maple.

They don't make them anymore, so you won't be able to get another one unless it's used. Then again, that's the same case with the Special Edition.

True, I chose to go with the Am. Std. No regrets here.

That an older model? What was wrong with the MIM one?

Yeah Paul, it's an Am. Std. 3- Color Sunburst. I got thinking again, an Am. Std. would be a better Fretted bass to have with the Fretless. Both boards, and necks are similar. $1,000. for it on close out. The Standard covered $636. toward it. I'm too spoiled with an Am. Std. anyway.
