Yes it can. Bad story lines the whole thing.

I played the GL the other day. It's like the Hartke was made for it.

It does seem like a nice set up you have with both of them.

That's about right. No complaints for either one with the Hartke.

It took me awhile to really get it right for myself.

Hey Paul I'm waiting for Wednesday to get the Bassman 800, as I realized we're both going to be running 800 watt heads. The Jazz should play well through the Bassman 800/HD210. And I guess you'll be having the PF800/Rumble 410.

Oh, so you decided to go with the Bassman 800 then? Yeah, that's true, except we'd both need an extra 8 ohm cab to get ridiculously loud like that. :P

True on the 8 ohms. What does the PF800 put out on 8 ohms anyway? The Bassman 800 is 500 watts @ 8 ohms.

Are you excited waiting for the Ampeg? Well are you? Say yes!!! That's a sharp head buddy. 800 watts, light weight, and compact for doing gigs. Put that sucker in a shoulder bag, and hang on to it so no one else snags it on you. I'm really glad you were finally able to diverse yourself of the Orange. 8)

According to the specs, it says 400 watts at 8 ohms, which is fine with me. There's always the option to add an additional 8 ohm cab down the road, if need be.

Yeah, I am looking forward to hooking that up and see what it does. It should be here tomorrow (well, technically today, since I'm typing this at 3:21 AM,) so I'll be on the look out for that. You know, I forgot about that with a shoulder bag or any sort of case. Does it even have one? I have to look into that. I'm glad I've been able to move on from the Orange. It wasn't a bad amp, it just wasn't working out for me. The dude that bought it seems to like it, though. So at least someone is getting something out of it.

SA shows a shoulder bag for the PF 500/800. Ampeg PF-500/800 Padded Carrying Bag. $49.99. It appears to be a pretty solid bag.

I know I'd be a bit more ay ease at a job, if I had the amp head with me. Cabs are a bit safer, but heads disappear to easily. And the PF800 being a flatter profile, can be stolen, and concealed as it's walking away.

I have a pretty good idea you, and I are about the same, and can't afford to lose a head.
