Yeah, I guess they all freaked out because there was a lot of change, and people weren't as uptight with things, or at least a lot of the younger generation. Of course, all of that can be debatable on the after effects of all of that. One generation will blame the other generation for screwing up stuff, blah, blah, blah.

My God Paul, you should've been around the in the later 60's. Things were getting great. I believe you have that drive in you. You're a rare player in these times to have the grasp of that Blue Cheer mentality.
NO, You can never play "Summertime Blues" loud enough!!!

It's just one of those songs you just have to crank. It sucks Dickey Peterson died, that's for sure. At least there's still recordings and videos still around. They still sounded pretty good up to the end.

That's a sad thought, but true. Back then a lot of things went by in time without being recorded. Smartphones weren't around in the 60's, and no I didn't take pics back then at events. I was working and couldn't take time to take pics. Not everyone walked around with a Kodak Instamatic, or 110 camera. Some people can't imagine how more simplistic things were, when things weren't invented yet. Heavy tube amps, = ROADIES.

Yeah, you probably never imagined having a smart phone. I know I didn't, up until they started coming out. The closest thing you could think about was Star Trek communicators, that you saw on TV. Hell, a smart phone is like a combination of a Star Trek communicator, and a tricorder, in a way. We still haven't got any jet packs, though. :P

James Bond movies seemed to have some things futuristic too.

That's true. I guess it was a 60's thing, with the moon landings, and all of that.

The space program did spawn a lot of things that evolved from it, into the every day items we use today. I remember when the digital calculators came out for example. Hell, I'm pre zip codes. Harry Truman was still President for a short time when I was born.

Well, Nixon was president when I was born. He sounded like he was fun at parties. :P
