You should get another 15" cab, then, and crank it.

No cash for one, but it would be a fine sound. Right now, I'm lucky to have the stuff I have.

The moto p/g has been swapped for a classic black one to match the body.

It's not the first time you've acquired a Jetglo Rickenbacker 4003.

Black on black doesn't look to bad.

I was in the mind set to get another Jetglo for some time, but haven't run across the 4003 that looks, and plays like this on does.

I just realised, besides having a Geddy Lee bass, you also are getting a Ric bass, which he also has used for many years. If you ever wanted to do a Rush tribute, you're about halfway there, at least where the gear goes. The hard part is to actually do what he does with sing, playing bass, and keys, often at the same time. Talk about using both sides of your brain, and also playing often complex music in odd time signatures. :P

I didn't even think about having the Rush, Geddy Lee basses. I was just thinking about both being Black Basses, with similar neck configurations. I like Rush's music, but Lee's voice doesn't do me any favors. His bass playing however, is right RIGHT ON!
I do stand by my opinion, of the USA GL Jazz being one of the better Fender Jazzes produced. But that just me. Image

The cool thing that you can do, which I think we talked about with the neck on the GL, is compare it to the Ric and see how similar they are side by side. I'm curious to see how close they might be, since there is a possibility that could have been a spec of his, since he did play Rics for many years, and the neck on it might be like that.

That's very true about the Fender USA Geddy Lee's neck being partially, or more specked out from his Ric's neck.

So, you'd say it's pretty close then?

They do feel that way to me anyway.
