Hello (and happy new years fellow low enders)

I use for now some weeks an American Std Precision and I love this bass. I love especially the slightly larger neck (1.625). I'm not a speed bass hero, I play quiet things using walkings and simple lines, and for that this neck size is perfect (added to this I'm tall and large and have likely larger hands).

For tone reason I'd like to add a JB to my Precision but the JB have a much smaller neck (1.5) therefore my (very likely stupid) question :

Among all the versions of Jazzbass that Fender produced (and without considering the Mark Hoppus that is more a Precision than a Jazz) is there one that uses a larger neck ? some kind of Jazz Bass with a Precision neck ?

Thanks in advance

Luc

No, not that I know of. All Jazz basses have 1 1/2" nut width and various versions of a 'C' shaped neck. In my hands the modern 'C' jazz neck with 1 1/2" nut width and 9 1/2" neck radius is perfect. That's what I have stock on my American Standard Jazz. I'll never change it.
