Unfortunately you can not order a neck from Fender. eBay and Aftermarket are your best options.

You can order it from your local music store (Fender Dealer). I think they need to determine if you need a new neck. The reason, IIRC is on this site under support or something - is to prevent people with bad intentions to create a "fake" model. If you're into muscle cars, there are more SS models now than ever produce by GM, Fender is trying to prevent that. Aftermarket is the way to go on this.

To expound on PowerJazzBass's answer, yes Fender US did for a time sell US made bodies and necks, I've seen them for the re-issue basses on until about 3 yrs ago. But, as stated before, Fender realized that they could be hurting their own reputation by people buying parts and selling them as GENUINE FEnder made guitars/basses when they obviously aren't so they stopped doing this for the MAIN parts namely the body and neck. You can of course buy pick guards, string trees, and small stuff like this.

If you go to a Fender authorized dealer, they won't order you a new MM neck since, I assume you bought the MM body etc.. used so there is no warranty and Fender will ONLY send out replacement parts to cover warranty claims. If you bought a MM new from say GC, had the orig receipt for proof of purchase and date of purchase, and the neck just cracked all of a sudden (not due to misuse), and it was under the warranty period, Fender would then send a new neck out. I know since I've asked quite a few Authorized Fender dealers chains and independents on trying to get genuine Fender body/necks. If you want to wait 6-8 months, you can do a custom shop order, but a neck ALONE will cost you about $900- 1300.

Best bet, try aftermarket there are quite a few places Stew Macdonald, Warmouth, Allparts where you can get FEnder liscensed bodies/necks. I actually have a FrankenFender US J bass body/pots etc.. mated with an Allparts white pearloid block maple neck a la Marcus Miller and would suggest you try Allparts or Warmouth. Also there's ebay too.
