Have you been to that range?

No. The last gun range I fired a weapon in, was in Pompano Beach, north of Fort Lauderdale.

It looks like a pretty big place, and they carry all kinds of stuff there, at least from what I can tell from their website. Speaking of Fort Lauderdale, the last time I've even been there was the summer of 1994 for a weekend. I had a friend who I was in a band with knew a friend of his that lived there at the time, and we went down there to hang out. I remember it was hot as hell, in comparison to St. Petersburg, and that's saying a lot. :P I guess it was because it's further down south, and on the east coast, I don't know. I remember Brandon being hotter, as well, but it was more inland. It's kind of like around here, since we're on an island, 1/4 mile from the ocean, and if you go inland, or as I like to call it, the United States, like in Providence, it's usually 10 degrees hotter, for summertime. Boston, too. Of course, when winter comes along, that kicks your arse even worse.

If the winds are from the Atlantic we get a Seabreeze, that cools things down a bit. Further in from here it gets real hot.

I guess the main thing that gets to you is the humidity, though. It's been oddly very humid around here the past week, ever since the hurricane blew past. It hasn't been high temperatures, though.

That Hurricane was a big size low pressure system that went by. The Bermuda High that moved away so the storm would track to the north, was your source of dry air. So yeah, it's going to be more humid.

Yeah, and I think there's some other crap forming out there, as well. I don't think we're out of the woods yet, as far as the hurricane season goes.

It almost looks like my up coming weekend is going to be a wet one, and maybe a bit of wind. Tis the season. Image

Yeah, I know you'll get hit with that crap before we do. Of course, we get hit with those Nor'easters. You know, it's currently only 55 degrees here, but it's 90% humidity. That's some weird weather, since normally when it's that cold, the humidity isn't that high.

Weather isn't too easy to figure out sometimes. What is your relative humidity this time of year anyway?

Usually, it's not that high, although it has been this past week. Right now it's around 78%, according to the weather site.

Larger systems do have an affect on peripheral weather conditions. This Tropical Storm Humberto, is basically far off the coast, but its stalled, just north of my location here, and getting a bit stronger than anticipated. At least from what they said at 11:00 PM Friday nights local TV weather.

I haven't even checked out the weather, other than the local temperature. I should see what's up with that, since you never know what it can do.

It appears to be going to head up north a bit, then turn out to the Atlantic as a Hurricane. I don't think it's going to be messing with you.

Well, that's good. We still aren't out of the woods, yet, as far as the season goes, though. Who knows, you can still get lucky, though?
