I just purchase a Twisted Tele neck pickup for swapping with my current American Standard neck pickup in my 2004 Tele. My question is with the wiring from the Twisted Tele versus the original: original pickup--2 wires, 1 black, 1 white. Pretty easy to follow to connection points on switch terminal and back of pot. The Twisted Tele pickup, however, has 3 wires: 1 black, 1 yellow, 1 green. I'd appreciate anyones guidance on what each of the 3 colors correspond to, and how to wire it up properly in standard 3 position switch configuration. Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome.

The black AND the green are ground wires, the yellow is your hot wire. In other words, wire the black and green to the back of the volume pot and wire the yellow wire to the where your original white one went on the pickup selector switch.
