Well, the 410 will sound like four 10" speakers and the 212 will sound like two 12" speakers. Oh, it may sound like a Deville as well.

Don't ya just hate smart asses!!!! PTM. lol.

Mate in my opinion, I think that the 410 has more spank to it than the 212.

when I road tested both amps, I went with the 410 because I found it really gave all of the fretboard of my Strat justice in it's voicing.

Try both and let us know what you think.

the 410 probably has more watts aswell?
when i bought my amp (blues deville 410) i was told that the 410 (60w) has more spank and treble than the 212(40w).

no, its 60watts, otherwise it would just be a 2x12 deluxe.

To be honest, the 2x12 gives more depth and space. Also its nowhere near as heavy as the 10x4

Really? to me 4x10 and the larger build would strike me to be heavier.

the 2x12 is 53.5 lbs. (24.26 kg)
the 4x10 is 50 lbs. (22.7 kg)

wow, never would have thought of that

Re weight - the speakers are the really heavy parts, well the drivers are,so the 4x10 is heavier. But the 212 is heavy too, I had to get rid of mine cos of back problems.
