Hi evrybody, I have a Squire stratocaster, but I just cannot Identify it ! Someone gave it to me, and I've been searching for the serial number (S 94xxxx) ...no result.. It's a squier II stratocaster by Fender (made in korea)
It's old (yellow pickguard, pickups) and the white colour is kind of yellow too (I think it's a vintage white or an olymic white) ... :P
Could somebody give me some advice ?

Oh I forgot..... It sounds better than an american standard stratocaster, and the finishing is awesome !
Thanks :)

First off what guitar are we talking about the squire or the fender? Squire dont have a serial no' dating system that i'm familiar with. I think you'll have to email squire for that. If its Fender and not a Customshop, hotrod, AVRI or Korean it can be dated from the serial no'.

Its not from 1980, Squiers weren't made until 1982 and at that point they were japanese. If its a Korean Squier II it was made from around 88-89 til somewhere in the mid 90s. Im gonna guess the S94 may be Samick factory in 94

No its not really
"vintage" per say, but a good guitar nonetheless. Squier IIs aren't particularly valuable. I paid about 50 bucks for my old one in a pawnshop a couple of years ago and they go for about 100-200 bucks on Ebay
