Hi

New to this forum, and (potentially) new to Fender guitars. I am currently in the market for an electro acoustic. This will be my second acoustic guitar purchase after learning and progressing on a fairly basic Yamaha F310. I also have a Yamaha SA500 hollow bodied electric.

Now, I was wondering how a Fender T-Bucket 300 electro-acoustic would stack up against a Yamaha APX500? I've tried the APX, but cannot find a local retailer with the T-Bucket. Both seem to be within a similar budget (around £200GBP). It would be used primarily for private playing and getting together with pals for a jam in reheasal rooms with an eye on open mic gigs in the future. We play fairly mellow alt country, 70s country rock material so I'm not in the market for the ultimate rock machine...warmth and rich tones are more important to me that endless sustain!

Any thoughts would be welcome...thanks

James
