I bought a small Fender Californian 13 years ago for my daughter, which she never has played. I have inherited it by default and just re-strung and re-saddled it, and boy does it have great sound. Beautiful mahogany sides and back, spruce top and I guess rosewood fretboard - and all six tuners on one side! A really nice looking guitar that's in perfect shape. I paid $99 for it back then, and it came with a nice gig bag too.
Why can't I find any mention of this guitar or pictures anywhere on the Fender website or anywhere else on the internet? Is anyone familiar with the Californian model? The label inside the sound hole just says Fender Californian and a serial number and made in korea stamped on the label. Not to be confused with the California models, which I believe are dreadnaughts and other larger guitars. Thanks.
