Does anyone happen to have the specs for a 2002 Fender American Standard? I have seen an owners manual and a parts list on the Fender website, but I don't know where to find the SPECS in the form they are listed in the current 2009 American Standard page. In particular, I am interested in the neck/nut dimensions (I didn't see them in the owners manual or parts list) but the whole spec sheet would be great. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

try contacting Fender consumer relations. They are generally pretty good about coughing up specs like that. Particularly if you can ask them about a specific serial number.

If you get the specs please post them. I bought a 2002 AM STD last year and would like to see them as well.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I was going to say... it wasn't the American Standard that year, it was the American Series.

I bought my Texas Special in 03 when Guitar Center was blowing them out for like 500.Its still one of my favorites.Love the tone and feel of it.Big difference in the sound of the custom staggered Texas Specials and the vintage staggered ones.Over the years i have thought about selling it, but I never will.
