Brad,

Are these intended to replace the American Deluxe guitars or do they sit above/below/beside the USA Deluxe instruments in the product range?

Just to clarify, these sit above, and not in place of, the American Deluxe series.

I,m so damned impressed with Fender!!!!!!!!!!!!! you,ve been listening to us!!! the other companies just got back behind 5 years of catching up and copying and a MARR Jag to boot!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Thanks much for the positive feedback. We're tremendously excited, too, as you can imagine. I'm already making room in my own stable for a Carved Maple Top Telecaster® and one of the Select basses as well. AMAZING instruments. And yes, how about that lovely Marr Jaguar® too, eh?!

But once again, no left-handed models .....

Both Carved Koa & Maple Teles deserve a pair of vintage alnico humbuckers in the neck/bridge positions and an S-1 switch for an infinite array of killer tones.

These guitars would look better with staggered locking tuners and a bound abalone block-inlaid ebony fretboard with matching headstock.

When will the "Selects" start showing up at the dealers?

Thanks,

i can piece together a guitar twice as nice with better parts and better flamed maple for half the price. they do look pretty nice though, i'm sure they will sell well.

That sounds about right to me!!! I do agree, they most likely will sell rather well within the Fender community.

Now, if they had a top like this, then we'd be talking Seriously Select!!!

Hey RockStar,

What Fender guitar are you showing as your Avatar and can you show a blowup of it? It's one good looking Strat and does it play as good as it looks?
