Ooo - this is going to be good thread!

Tommy Emmanuel is knockout, isn't he? Thanks for that.

Here's a vid of Antonio Forcione doing Heard It Through The Grapevine. I've been listening to him for a couple of years but only got to see him for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I didn't post about it because talking with him afterwards he said he's not played the US yet, so most here won't know about him. But what the heck - stick with it, cos it gets more lively as it goes on...

This thread reminded me of a name I hadn't thought of in many years, a recording engineer I knew in Nashville, and I am saddened to find by Internet search that she died about 4 years ago. She would have been 51 then.

Well, damn.... here's to you, Dee. I'll post this one in her memory.

1 person I think every serious guitar player should include in their record collection is Leo Kottke. There's so much to choose from, but I always seem to watch this one. It's far from his flashiest work, but I love this one (especially the super-tasty slide work.) One of the best players i have ever seen live.

Also he always seems so happy to be playing. So many great players never smile, seems weird that Leo would stand out in my mind, for the simple act of smiling while playing.

Leo Kottke -- Pamel Brown.

Hmm.. I expected this thread to be a 3 or 4 pages by now.
Too cool an idea to let the thread die.
It's a good thing when I read the original post what I saw was:

Well many of you may have seen this before, but I am sure someone will watch this who has not seen it before. And for the sake of keeping the thread alive. It is Andy Mckee: Guitar Drifting.
