Hello,
Does anyone know anything about the Fender Enforcer pickups. I bought an American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS and thought the Humbucker was the DH-1, but have recently found out that it is an Enforcer and I can't seem to find out anything about them. I even e-mailed Fender but no response from them, so if anybody has any information or knows where I can find out it would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's a beautiful guitar that plays great, the Enforcer Humbucker doesn't have the sound of the DH-1 (maybe thats why its discontinued) but it sure cleans up nice for the Blues. Do I like it yes, so much that I went and got the matching American Deluxe Telecaster. Fender really does a nice bit of craftsmanship on the american deluxe's.
Thanks

for me my friend the enforcer is a masterpiece....some say that you don't get nice clean sounds from it but i disagree...it has a cool "twang" but add some gain and it becomes one of the most heavy humbucks fender has to offer nowdays...when you roll of the volume knob i can't beliece how nicely it cleans...i got two of them on my american series telecaster hh with s-1 switch on.. :D

Oddly enough, I have had a similar experience with my AmDlx HSS. How did you find out it was an Enforcer instead of a DH 1? Fender has also been quiet on this one with me.

Thanks,
BD

Waking up a quiet thread.
I would like to obtain an Enforcer pickup. Fender did not reply to my request for info.
Not sure why they are not available, they are offered in more than 1 current Fender.
Any more current news on this pickup?

hey there!
it is true that enforcers are hard to find...we are talking about a heavy distortion pickup in the bridge position, with lots of gain and output.in the neck position, enforcer is a "normal output" humbucker ,but in my opinion far more good sounding than gibsons...i don't know why fender doesn't sell this separately anymore...
