Hi,

i am new here and would like to congratulate You to this community.

I hope someone can help me out.

I got a Fender Princeton 65 Solid State ( the cheap one) which came with a 3-botton-footswitch, but without any cable for the footswitch.
Now i am told, that i need a "special" cable to connect the footswitch to the amp, because
using a normal guitar-cable would produce a short-cut in the amp.
I surfed the web, but cannot find any confiramtion for this, but before plugging in
a normal cable, i would like to double-check in this forum.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks and regards from Spain,
Klaus

A standard speaker cable with ¼-inch phone plugs at each end will work fine.
